Looking at the current group of young players now, it’s a vastly different landscape than when we started back then.
"I love hearing stories about Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook recounting how they were giving away free tickets at train stations in their jerseys, completely unknown to the public. I remember after my last college season, playing in the World Championship, everyone kept saying, 'Chicago is such a fantastic sports city. Once the team gets rolling, it will be a wonderful place to play.' It’s incredible how that prediction came true just a few years later. All these factors coming together and seizing those opportunities made my experience all the more special."
