Eliud Kipchoge, Kenya’s marathon legend, has spent over two decades redefining human potential—winning nearly every accolade imaginable and earning the title of the greatest marathon runner in history. But now, at 41, he’s not retiring—he’s evolving. 'I’m running for purpose,' he declares, signaling a bold new chapter in his storied career. And this is where it gets even more inspiring: Kipchoge is launching the Eliud Kipchoge World Tour, a two-and-a-half-year journey to run marathons on all seven continents—not to chase records, but to ignite change. 'Running connects us all,' he tells BBC Newsday. 'I want to inspire, give back, and remind everyone that no human is limited.'

When asked who he’d jog with, he doesn’t choose another athlete—he picks Barack Obama, 'because he is a real human being.' Between Messi and Ronaldo, he chooses Ronaldo, not for flair, but for work ethic. 'He works hard every day to improve his talent,' Kipchoge says.
As he embarks on this world tour, Kipchoge’s competitive fire remains, but its meaning has shifted. 'I have nothing more to prove to the world,' he says. 'What I want now is to sell the spirit of running to the next generation.'
